About FBCS

First Baptist Christian School was organized in 1982. It was the goal of the founders of FBCS to train children in self-discipline, individual responsibility, personal integrity, and good citizenship. In addition, FBCS is committed to providing students with an exceptional academic foundation for future learning.

Each Wednesday morning, the school has a Chapel time in the Sanctuary. This non-denominational devotional is a time of learning Bible stories, life applications, prayer, and singing songs of praise. Families are invited to join their child at any time for Chapel.

The First Baptist Christian School academic program is of the highest quality and commands respect in excellence. The A Beka curriculum is unashamaedly Christian and traditional to its approach emphasizing strong phonics, math, and Biblical concepts. Students also learn sight words and practice writing daily.
