About Us

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25

Worship

The First Baptist Family meets together for worship each Sunday at 11:00 AM. We believe that the worship of God is essential to the life of believers. Each week we gather expecting to meet with God, to be changed through this experience, and to become more like Him. We hear the Word of God through the reading of scripture, through singing music that expresses the rich heritage of our faith and rejoices in modern expressions of praise, through testimonies of God's work, both in our congregation and in the world, and each time we gather we hear the Scripture preached in a clear and direct manner that encourages us to worship and obey God's Word. We are a community of faith that meets to Love God and Serve Others.

Sunday School

From bed babies to senior adults, the entire church family studies a central Bible truth each week. Our curriculum gives our church family a common ground for discussion and enables the encouragement of one another as we apply the lesson to daily living. We hope you'll join us in Sunday School. We offer a variety of classes for all ages - there is definitely a place for YOU! Visit the class of your choosing on Sunday at 9:45 A.M.

The youth ministry at FBC seeks to engage students with God's Word, help them apply Biblical principals to their lives, and encourage spiritual growth. The youth also enjoy opportunities to have fun and to fellowship with one another by going to summer camp and youth events. We also try to provide students with a chance to fulfill Jesus' command (Acts 1:8) to be witnesses, by going on both local and national mission trips. At FBC we provide several ministry opportunities for students in 7th-12th grades such as: Sunday School 9:45am, Discipleship time Sunday 5:00pm, and Worship and Biblical Teaching Wednesday 6:00pm.

Women's Ministry

Various Bible studies, book clubs, and events are organized throughout the year to encourage spiritual growth and fellowship among the women of our church and community.
