“From February of 2003 to March 2004, the Strategic Planning Committee prayerfully evaluated and surveyed the kingdom at First Baptist. They studied our facilities; Sunday School attendance, counted people, parking spaces and cars. Their charge from the church was to develop a plan for our church plant that would enhance our ability to continue to grow and reach our community for the Kingdom of God. Through much prayer and counsel God led them to a Master Plan that includes two phases. Phase One is now a reality.
Every age group in our church now benefits from this effort. The preschool is now enjoying a new wing, children have new furnishings, youth have adequate and appropriate space, and adults have gained additional Sunday School space. Everyone benefits from the gym and walking track, expanded Social Hall, new commercial kitchen, new and remodeled restrooms, a centrally heated and air conditioned educational building, and additional parking. The result is that the Kingdom of God has been enhanced and expanded and the Savior is exalted.
This is an incredible opportunity for each of us to make an eternal difference For The Kingdom. There is no greater investment than to invest in God’s Kingdom. It is a chance to participate in something spiritual and significant that will out last your life. Let’s do it for the kingdom, for ‘His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom…’ (Daniel 7:27).”
